Our Story
Every great love story has a beginning, and ours started with a chance meeting in January 2022 at Phoenix Night Club in Virginia Beach.
Javonte noticed Porscha first and wasn't shy about making the first move—and thankfully, he did. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something neither of us expected.
When we met, we each came with a little extra love already in our lives—Javonte had a son, and Porscha had a daughter. As our relationship grew, so did our family. Together, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl, and before we knew it, we were building a life filled with love, laughter, and memories.
One of our favorite things to do is gather the people we love. Whether we're cooking together in the kitchen or hosting family for the holidays, we've learned that home isn't a place—it's wherever we're together.
If you know us, you know we're complete opposites. Javonte is definitely the more stubborn one, and Porscha will absolutely take the longest to get ready. Somehow, those differences are exactly what make us work. We challenge each other, balance each other, and encourage one another to become better every day. With each other, we've found a sense of peace, comfort, and the feeling of being home.
Our journey hasn't always been perfect, but it's taught us that the best things in life are worth fighting for. Through every season, we've chosen each other, and that choice has only made our love stronger.
One of the biggest surprises of our story happened at our baby shower. Surrounded by our family and friends, Javonte completely caught Porscha off guard when he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. She had absolutely no idea it was coming—which made saying "yes" even sweeter.
Now, here we are, getting ready to start our greatest adventure yet. We can't wait to become husband and wife, continue growing together, and fill our home with even more love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
